Labor Day

Rainy day.  My son is in trouble.  I am relaxing but about to go to work tonight.

I’m Hotzin for an iphone. The new iphone is probably going to be released next month.  Looking forward to what’s to come

Tuesday and Weds

On Tuesday night, the girl who works the taco bell line at work couldn’t come in, so the 2 guys I had working on taco bell were weak. Speed of Service was pretty bad but the night ended well.

Last night, I had a great team working but on top of that, one of my employees, Alston, came up to me and commented on how calm I am through my shifts and how well I treat the employees.  I told him it’s because of my relationship with Jesus.  When he went on break, he asked me to talk more about God with him.  I got to share the Gospel with him.  He had never heard it before and it was so cool to see him light up when he started understanding God’s love for us.  At the end of the night, he said he wanted to go buy a Bible.  I gave him some suggestions of some good versions that would be easy for him to understand.  What an awesome night. God Rocks!!

Day 3

My General Manager went on vacation this week.  My work week goes from Weds to Tuesday.  Weds night, I closed and had an awesome night.  I was off yesterday.  I am about to go into work in a few minutes and try to fix stuff that was messed up yesterday.  It shouldn’t be too bad though.  I think I just have to fix some time clock errors.

A few things

On Sunday at church, I helped serve in the CAfe.  I did the dishes.  I love it so much that I asked if I could move into that position for good.  I got the approval.

At work, I had been slacking on a few things so my daily numbers didn’t look as good as they should.  I decided to step it up.  My General Manager is very impressed by my effort and is very pleased.

Tonight I did the weekly inventory.  At the end of the night, I have to put all the numbers for labor, speed, food cost etc on one page.  It requires looking at a few different printed forms to get all the info gathered and doing some math to get some percentages.  I really struggled on this stuff lately.  But tonight, I did it all without any help for my GM.  It was a great night!!

Off to bed now for a few hours of sleep

YMCA

It is so nice to have our Ymca memberships again.  I have been there 2 days in a row now.  I got my Fitlynxx account reactivated.  Robbie and I have gone swimming and played basketball so far.  We played 3 on 3 basketball yesterday, it was so much fun!

We saw a few of the Ranch ILP boys there.  I talked with Aaron for a while and met Wesley. Jon Jon was there too.

I am so grateful to be able to go back to the Y!

Day off

I slept in this morning. That was nice! I asked my wife for a Honey-Do list for today. I started working on it after breakfast. Robbie wanted to do something together, so I thought he might like to work on my list with me.
He did such a good job! He cleaned the bathroom and vacuumed out our cars. I cleaned the kitchen floor and vacuumed all the carpet. I got my laundry done. I took Daisy to the vet and bought Little Caesar’s for lunch.
Robbie and I watched Dudly Do-Right on Netflix and now we are chilling out waiting for Denise to come home for the evening plans.
What a fun day!!

Birthday

I turn 37 on Tuesday. We celebrated today because I work Tuesday night.  We spend the afternoon with Tanya and Troy and their boys.  I got to take an afternoon nap, it was so nice.  We had a great lunch and birthday cake and ice cream.  We came home and I opened cards and my parent’s presents.

Thanks mom and dad for the Best Buy gift card and the hot chocolate.  I used my last hot chocolate a couple of days ago, so this was perfect timing!
